Ticket Scalper

One thing I hate most is escorting the departure of someone to the bus/train station or even to the airport. Because I hate goodbye..
But tonight I have to letting go my hubbly-chubbly for the second time to travel to another place in Indonesia. So, I escorting him to the airport at 8 pm and we arrived at 9 pm. I really don't have a heart to see him traveled with such condition, he really does not feeling well. While waiting the departure time, we sat on a bench with other people. Next to me and my hubbly-chubbly, there are two ladies, an Indonesian and an expatriate. One thing caught my eyes, the expatriate lady seems arguing with few people near her, then suddenly, she turn her head to me and asked "do you speak English?" then I answered "yes I do, why?". "Can you explain to them that I don't want to pay any cent for the ticket because they tried to fooled me, look, there's 2 prices in this ticket, I can't accept that!".
Oohh.... now I Understand why she arguing with those people. It turns out that she bought a ticket from a ticket scalper and they tried to change the price. After a long debate between her and those scalpers, finally they gave up and said “ok, just asked her how many she wants to pay? We just don’t want if she complained to the security guard because it will be a big mess for us”
Then I asked to her, after, she replied “Its ok for me to pay more than normal price but, if they tried to fooled with changed the price, I can’t accept that, I agree if they offered me for 2.450.000 rupiah” then the problem is solved, they agreed.
She insist to pay with her price because she already saw my hubbly-chubbly ticket which has the same destination, while my hubbly-chubbly only paid for 2.049.000 rupiah for the ticket.
It’s a funny thing and only happened in our beloved country, there are some people do the dirty job like that, a scalper we called it. They booked a lot of tickets then they sale it to other people with a higher price.
“Thank you so much.. You helping me dealing with those people, I promised I will take care of him (pointed at my hubbly-chubbly) as own son, I will be his momma.. hehe..”
I just smiled back and said, “thank you to you too… please take care him ok?” Then they went together to get the boarding pass…
Finally, the moment I hate most….. Waving goodbye to them….
And after that, I walk myself home, alone…
